ABOUT

Orchid Footwear was originally created by the guys from the Little Devil clothing company. Little Devil began in 1995 as a t-shirt printing business operated out of owner Derek Adams' basement. The company promoted bmx riding and culture, gained a small following around the world, and eventually grew into a full clothing line. Little Devil produced everything from head to toe except for one noticeable item, shoes!

So in 2002, with a name inspired from a Black Sabbath song and a goal of making comfortable riding shoes, Orchid Footwear was born. In 2003 the first shoes came rolling off the assembly line, 500 pairs of limited Van Homan "platinum" edition shoes. The response was overwhelming so in 2004 the first shoes were offered for sale to the public. We’ve since been producing new shoes each year, developing and refining the Orchid line along the way, as we continue to learn more about the wonderful world of shoe biz. Expect lots of good things yet to come.
